Valve radio conversion by Boorach

Converting old products into new PC mods is always a fascinating past time and for us, something we never get bored of watching. Boorach is the latest bit-tech modder to try his hand at this transformation in his first ever mod.



The vintage 1930's valve radio could certainly do with some TLC but appears to be just the right size for a small PC case, with room for a radiator and a few fans to keep the resulting PC cool.



The inside was lined with hardwood and we love the brass-coloured motherboard tray too - it fits perfectly in with its surroundings. In the latest updates, some of the hardware has been installed too. The project looks set to become a classic and there are plenty of beautiful pictures of Boorach's native Shetland Islands in his log too.
